Kingdom Asunder has begun

Or, to be more precise, I've started to write it.

Kingdom Asunder will be a full-length novel set in the same world as Bane of Souls and Journey to Altmortis. At present, I think there will be no returning characters from either of those books. However, it's also the start of a trilogy, and it's possible certain characters (most probably of the Kuhrisch variety) might return in the second book.

It's the first time for about a year and a half I've begun a first draft of a 'serious' fantasy (I wrote the first third of Journey to Altmortis before Bane of Souls was released), and it's taken me a little while to get going, but things seem to be running more smoothly now.

I expect it'll take the longest to write of any book so far. A 2014 release is possible, but it could easily run into 2015.

My intention is to release two versions: a full, and priced, copy and a Regency Edition, which follows the Regent's half of the story and is free.

In addition, there's a reasonable chance that something else of mine might be released in the meantime.
