Traitor's Prize - out today, discounted until 5 August

As the title subtly suggests, Traitor's Prize, the sequel to Kingdom Asunder, is out today. Not only that, it's just 60% of the normal price until 5 August. And, if you haven't yet enjoyed Kingdom Asunder, that's slashed to $0.99 until 5 August.

So if epic and dark fantasy is your cup of tea, if you like medieval bloodshed, treachery and political conniving, you can get just under 200,000 words for less than half the price of a cinema ticket (and no adverts to annoy you for the first half hour).

Traitor's Prize available for pre-order

In delightful news, Traitor's Prize has a release date (28 July) and is available for pre-order at numerous online outlets, including (but not limited to):

Traitor's Prize is the sequel to Kingdom Asunder, and the middle book of The Bloody Crown Trilogy. It continues immediately on from the events of the first book. Speaking of which, if you like your fantasy grim and treacherous, bloody and sly, but don't yet own Kingdom Asunder, now is the perfect time to buy it. KA is discounted to a measly 0.99c until 28 July.

Similarly, Traitor's Prize is discounted to $2.99 for the pre-order period and the first week of release, so don't dilly-dally.

It's not even out yet but I know readers wonder about future releases in a series. Crown of Blood, the third book, will be out probably early 2018. I've done a few early drafts. The first 85% story-wise is almost entirely nailed down, the last 15% needs work. Other than that, it's donkey work, sharpening the language, maintaining continuity and cutting out errors.
